I've been on another hiatus, short, but a hiatus nonetheless. In this short time I have played a lot of video games worked on my art and programming and doing other summer things. But alas, it's almost over.
First things first. Shit that nobody cares about: Went to Warped Tour and Band Camp and the where both fun as shiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. Warped tired me out, didn't eat any food and I was dieing, but I got a sweet ass Four Year Strong shirt. Band Camp was like a week and marched and learned field show music. I actually got to talk about video games and shit there too.
Now that that dump is out of the way, I scraped my fighting game project in order to make space for a new project. I gathered a team of people to start on a project for the OUYA coming out next year. Yeah, we're making a game for the android console, and will take a lot of work. I will probably be working on that for most of the year. We are still working out concepts on that, but when I get more dirt on it, I'll probably be bragging about it like a retard. Any ideas for the game would are also open because we are still coming up with the basics. We are hopefully gonna be sinking our time and hearts into this to produce something classic, because that is as much of a thought we have. A side scroller.
Speaking of video games, I have been playing a lot of video games.
Shadow of the Colossus Was a pretty fucking good game; however, it still is a tad bit over rated. The story however is what really intrigues me. Just so much mystery surrounding it that I want to uncover.
Played a whole bunch of Xbox games that I really don't give a fuck about. Lollipop chainsaw is pretty good, Shadows of the damned as well.
Now what I am really excited about, Persona 4.
Persona 4 is probably the best game I have ever played. I love it so much. 60+ of hours and I just wanna play it again. I finished it with the bad ending, but will soon replay it for the best ending, which my parents already spoiled for me. But when they told me my mind was so fuckin blown that I don't even know life any more. Persona 4 is one of those games that can actually get you more into it then a movie. You actually give a fuck about the characters and what happens. A bad example of this is Fable 3. When Wallace dies it's supposed to be this whole big thing. But guess what? NO ONE GAVE A FUCK. But in Persona there where moments when I was actually watering at the eyes from joy and excitement. This game I can not stress enough is fuckin fantastic. I recommend to anyone who hasn't played it to do so. IT is definitely one of those games that changed my life.
Question of the day:
What is the biggest mind blowing experience you've had with a game?
Mine has to be Persona 4 with the mystery and all. I just love this game so much.
